Thurles Retrofit Project Launch

The Citizen-led Renovation project (CLR) is a European initiative that supports communities to take a leading role in their own energy renovations. As an Enabler, EcoVision is working directly with local community organisations, known as CLR Collectives, to help build local capacity and support homeowners through the retrofit journey.
Thurles Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) will focus its work in Thurles and the surrounding areas. The project will support a diverse range of households, including fuel-poor households through schemes such as the Warmer Homes Scheme and other grant-aided renovation measures, while also addressing issues such as vacancy and dereliction.
