Meet the EcoVision team in Ireland.

Máirtín EcoVision Team Ireland

Máirtín Ó Méalóid

General Manager

Máirtín is the first General Manager of EcoVision/ECTC since early 2023. Máirtín Has three decades of community development experience and has worked on a significant number of natural resource based projects and initiatives. A member of the European Small Islands Network , Energy Working Group, he has been involved in a number of EU funded projects including the EU Clean Energy Islands Initiative. Máirtín developed Ireland’s first fully electric community transport system on Cape Clear Island. He holds numerous technical certifications for hydraulics, pneumatics and robotics. Máirtín has decades of experience managing multiple projects and is currently working on the OSR Coop along with other EcoVision/ECTC members. Máirtín sits on a number of boards of national significance and has very strong networking and collaboration skills. He has put together a great EcoVision team here in Ireland in the last couple of years.

Martin EcoVision Team Ireland

Martin Keogh

Retrofitting Project Coordinator

Martin is our retrofitting Project Coordinator, supporting our customers at every step of their retrofitting journey, and working closely with our contractors to ensure the smooth running of every project. Martin is currently completing a Higher Diploma in Retrofit Management.

Marcella EcoVision Team Ireland

Marcella Maher Keogh

Project Manager

Marcella Maher Keogh, our project manager since 2012, oversees all of our retrofitting work. She holds a degree in Architectural Technology in Sustainable Development from Waterford Institute Of Technology and has worked in many architectural firms across the world.

Marcella is a qualified Building Energy Rating assessor and holds many other qualifications including MEnS Professional Skill in NZEB, Certificate in Energy Efficient Buildings Systems, City + Guilds NZEB Fundamentals and City+Guilds NZEB Retrofit Programmes and Fundamentals of Energy Renovation for Traditional Buildings. She is widely respected in the area of community-led retrofitting and has been invited to speak on this topic in Paris, Normandy and Brussels as part of an EU Life project.

Mona Zirngibl

Mona Zirngibl

Projects & Development Coordinator

As Projects and Development Coordinator at EcoVision, Mona leads the delivery of education and outreach initiatives with a focus on alleviating energy poverty. She works on two EU LIFE-funded projects—RENPOWER and OSR-Coop, in addition to the Engage in Energy project.

With a strong track record in programme design and funding acquisition, she has contributed to major successes such as securing EU Just Transition Fund support. Her work has expanded EcoVision’s services, including the Office Energy Champions initiative and workshops for communities and schools under the Energy Saving Champions project.

Jane Ryan

Projects & Administration Coordinator

Jane is our Projects and Administration Coordinator, currently working on the energy poverty Engage in Energy Project and EU Citizen-Led Renovation (CLR) Enablers Project, a Europe-wide initiative focused on empowering communities to take the lead in home energy renovations. While both projects are working with communities to improve their energy goals and aspirations, the Engage in Energy project targets vulnerable households with the aim of alleviating energy poverty through direct engagement which Jane has facilitated along with other team members.

Jane has more than two decades of Community Development experience in both Ireland and the UK, spanning many sectors including Energy Sustainability, Tourism, and the Arts. She holds an Honors Degree in Business and a Master of Science in Tourism Management and works with numerous local community groups to support and help communities with their sustainable future.

Callum

Callum Lanigan Ryan

Projects & Communications Coordinator

Callum is our Projects & Communications Coordinator, working across several European-funded initiatives, including RenoVisor, Renpower, and the Citizen-led Renovation (CLR Enablers) project. Through these projects, he helps communicate the benefits of sustainable energy, energy upgrades, and citizen-led climate action, making complex topics accessible and engaging for citizens, stakeholders, and local communities. His role focuses on developing project-related communications that empower people to make informed decisions about improving their homes, reducing their energy consumption, therefore helping to alleviate energy poverty, and contributing to Ireland’s transition to a more sustainable future.

From creating digital content and coordinating social media to promoting events, producing project related capacity-building and training materials, and supporting stakeholder engagement.Callum plays a key role in connecting communities with the information and resources they need to take on climate action.

David

David Harrison

Finance Manager

After nearly three decades in senior finance roles, David transitioned to fractional CFO work and plays an important role in supporting EcoVision’s continued growth. David provides hands-on support, deep financial expertise, and a clear growth mindset, ensuring finance plays a key role in strengthening our organisation and maximising our impact.
