Community Energy Upgrades, SEAI Grants & Retrofits

What Do We Offer?

We offer Community Energy Upgrades, with SEAI Grants in Ireland. Under the Better Energy Communities Scheme we can leverage funding covering 50% of the total cost of energy upgrades for non-profit community organisations, including insulation and heating upgrades to community halls, upgrading sports clubs lighting and installation of solar PV systems.

The Better Energy Communities Scheme uses the One Stop Shop model to upgrade groups of homes, businesses and community organisations in a geographic area. To join the scheme and avail of a 50% grant to realise your community upgrade project, while a dedicated team of project managers oversee the works and grant applications, get in touch today.

We have been offering these services to member communities since 2012, when we were carried out the first pilot project for what would become the Better Energy Communities scheme with the SEAI. When this model was proven to be effective, we rolled it out to many more communities in the mid-west. We are always on the lookout for communities to join our non-profit CLG, which operates on cooperative principles. You can find out more on this page here.
